| | | Stretch marks do fade over time. | Stretch marks do fade over time (about six to twelve months)
and become much less noticeable than they are when they are new.

the intervention of a dermatologist or plastic surgeon though much
research is going on in this area.
- There are many collagen creams on the market which claim to improve stretch marks.
- Cocoa butter cream claims to soften scars
- Some people think zinc supplements help but as with all supplements, check with your doctor.
- Fake tanning creams and lotions can camouflage stretch marks but
regular suntanning will not help as they are not pigmented
and will not change colour in the sun as the rest of your skin will.
